Getting to the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is served by two major airports. Gold Coast Airport (OOL) is located approximately 30 minutes south of Surfers Paradise and offers domestic connections and flights from New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Brisbane Airport (BNE), about one hour north of the Gold Coast, provides extensive international connections. Shuttle services, trains and car hire are available from both airports.

Visitors coming from overseas should check visa requirements well in advance of travel and ensure that passports are valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay.
