Call for Special Sessions

ISWCS 2026 will feature both regular and special sessions on timely and emerging topics of interest to researchers working on wireless communications systems. We invite proposals for special sessions comprising FIVE papers and presentations that explore cutting-edge research and innovation in the broad field of communications.

Proposals should include the following information:

• Session title: A concise and descriptive title that reflects the theme of the session.
• Motivation and rationale: A brief explanation of the relevance and importance of the session topic to the communications community.
• Session outline: A summary of the topics to be covered.
• Organizer information: Names, affiliations, and contact details of the session organizers. Please include a brief bio highlighting relevant expertise.
• Paper titles and list of authors: A list of five proposed paper titles along with the names and affiliations of the authors.

Please submit your special session proposal by sending an email to the Special Sessions Chairs with the subject: ISWCS 2026 Special Session Proposal. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the Special Sessions at ISWCS 2026.

Papers submitted to special sessions will undergo a rigorous review identical to that for regular submissions, and thus the final disposition of the session will depend on the outcome of the paper reviews.

Call for Papers

Authors are invited to submit original, previously unpublished research contributions in all areas of wireless communications, networking, signal processing and related topics. Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and must not be simultaneously submitted to any other conference or journal.

Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the work.

Our media partner, Entropy sponsors two student travel grants with 300 CHF. This open-access journal maintains a rigorous review process with a time to first decision of 22.3 days from submission to publication online. It is fully covered by the leading indexing and abstracting services, including SCIE (Web of Science), Scopus, Google Scholar, and Pubmed.

Submission Guidelines

• Papers should be written in English and prepared in the standard IEEE two-column conference format.
• The length of the paper is limited to 6 pages, including figures, tables and references. One additional page may be purchased at an extra charge.
• Authors must submit their manuscripts in PDF format through the EDAS submission system (opening soon).
• All submissions will undergo a single-blind peer review; author names and affiliations should be included in the manuscript.
• Templates and detailed formatting instructions will be provided when the submission system opens.
