CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Before you start the conference registration process, please read the information on this page carefully.

Registration for the conference and tutorials, and hotel reservation are handled together by a single registration process.

The deadline for early on-line registration is 15 September 2007. On-line registration after this date is also available, but with NOK 400 added.

For each accepted paper, one Full Rate Registration must be received by 9 August 2007. In case that multiple accepted papers have a same author, this author can register for up to three of these papers: one under full registration rate and each of the other two with an additional charge of NOK 1600. The organizers of the conference will check the registration status of each paper. If a paper is not linked to any Full Rate Registration in the abovementioned way after 9 August 2007, the paper will be withdrawn from the conference and not be included in the conference program nor the proceedings. (Note: On page 3 of the registration process, under "Additional  Accepted Papers", the sentence "If the registrant is the first author of several accepted papers, ..." should be read as "If the registrant is an author of several accepted papers, ...". On page 4 of the registration process, "Track Chair IDs of all accepted Papers:" are referred to the TrackChair IDs of all your accepted papers linked to this registration, including the primiary paper and the additional papers. An update on these will be done asap.)

The following table shows the rates for Full Rate Registration and Reduced Rate Registration before 15 September:

Each registration includes attendance to all conference sessions; conference lunches and coffee breaks on 17-19 October; the Welcome Reception on 17 October; one bag and a copy of the CD-ROM Conference Proceedings. In addition, each registration includes one free tutorial.

Student registration is available only to full-time students. For students registered under Reduced Rate Registration, you must show proof of full-time student status such as a photocopy of your student ID card when registering to the conference at the conference site.

With each registration, you can chose to get one Conference Dinner ticket at the cost of NOK200. (The conference provides substantial subsidy to the Conference Dinner.)

Note: Lunch for 16 October 2007 is not included in the registration fee.

TUTORIAL REGISTRATION

Each conference registration comes with a free tutorial ticket. The delegate can select one preferred tutorial. However, the organizer reserves the right to decide which tutorial this delegate will finally get, depending on the seat availability of each tutorial.

One can register to tutorials separately at the cost of NOK1200 per tutorial. In this case, seats for the chosen tutorials will be provided. Please contact the conference organizer for details.

EXTRA PAGE CHARGE

Full papers for ISWCS'07, either oral presentation or poster presentation, are only allowed to be up to 5 pages. The overlength page charge is payable on each additional page at a cost of NOK1200 per page.

PAYMENT

Registration payment for ISWCS'07 should be done either by credit card or by bank transfer. Credit card payments are the preferred form of payment. Credit card payment can be made with major credit cards. You will receive a confirmation after your credit card payment has been accepted.

Bank, currency and transfer charges are the responsibility of the payer.

NOTE: All fees must be paid and received by the Conference Secretariat in advance. No registration material will be handed out unless the registration fee is paid. For Paper Authors the fees must be received before the required deadline.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

Upon receipt of the registration form and payment, a confirmation will be sent by e-mail. Please read carefully the information on Page 1 of the registration process to ensure your registration will be correctly received by the Registration Secretariat.

HOTEL BOOKING

Due to that another event will be held on the same days as ISWCS'07, hotels are extremely crowded during the conference time. It is hence highly recommended that you make the hotel booking as early as possible.

ISWCS'07 has booked some blocks of rooms at several hotels. You can find this information from the Hotel Arrangement page. The hotel booking website is integrated with the registration website, so you can book hotel room together with the registration.
