Instructions for Authors
Instructions for Oral Presenters
We are very grateful to you for having submitted a paper to ISWCSĄŻ07. As a speaker, you have the responsibility of being clear, concise, and calling the interest of the attendees. The quality of your presentation directly affects the interest your audience will have in your material and the overall satisfaction the attendees will have in the conference.
If you are not an experienced presenter, we suggest you practice your presentation with a small group that will provide feedback to assist you.
We would like to call your attention to the following:
- Be in the session room 15 minutes before the oral session begins, so that you can meet your session chair and the other speakers in advance.
- Take a few minutes and fill in the short CV form and hand a copy of it to the session chair before the beginning of the session.
- It is most important to be within strict time constraints to allow the presentations to fit within the allotted time periods. Each paper has a time slot of20 minutes, where 17 minutes are for the presentation and the remaining 3 minutes are for questions and discussion. The session chairman will rigorously enforce these time limits.
- Video projectors as well as computers will be available in all session rooms. Other equipment, if available, will be provided at your expenses if you request it. Check availability with the conference secretariat.
- Please bring your presentation in a USB memory stick or CD-ROM to copy it onto the session computer. Note that only PowerPoint- and PDF-files will be supported. Upload your presentation files onto the session computer at least 15 minutes before the session begins. The session chair and the student volunteer will help you to make the uploading smooth.
Thank you again. If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
