REGISTRATION

Registration for ISWCS 2006 is now opened. Registration for the conference and all tutorials is being handled by a single registration process.

The deadline for discounted early registration fees is 30 June 2006. Registration after this date is still available, although not discounted rates and late registration will be dealt until 1 September 2006. After this date, participants will have to register at the conference desk.

Each accepted conference paper must have at least one full registration of a DELEGATE attached to it by 30 June 2006. In case of multiple accepted papers by one author, an additional charge must be attached to each paper. Authors please note that full registration must be done prior to the submission of a camera ready copy. Organisers need 2-3 working days to handle credit card charges and minimum 6 working days to receive bank transfers. This means that authors should register and pay no later than 30 June 2006. The deadline for submitting the camera ready copy is 1 July 2006.

Delegate Registration includes attendance at all conference sessions and exhibits on 6 September through 8 September 2006; Conference Lunches and coffee break on those days; the Welcome Reception on 6 September 2006; one bag and a copy of the CD-ROM Conference Proceedings; and one ticket for the conference gala dinner. Conference registration includes one free Tutorial*. Additional tickets for the Conference gala dinner and additional copies of the Conference Proceedings are available at additional cost.

Student registration: attendance registration is available for full-time students. You must show proof of full-time student status such as a photocopy of your student ID card when registering for the conference. The student registration includes Conference Lunches, and coffee break on those days; the Welcome Reception on 6 September 2006; one bag and a copy of the CD-ROM Conference Proceedings; and one ticket for the conference gala dinner. Conference registration includes two free Tutorial tutorial*. Please note that each accepted conference paper must have at least one full registration of a DELEGATE attached to it.

Reduced registration rates are available for members and student members of IEEE and IEEE Vehicular Technology Society. You must provide your IEEE membership number with registration. If you are not currently a member, you should consider joining, getting your membership number, and then registering to get the discount registration fees.

* Lunch for 5 September 2006 is not included with the registration fee. However, a ticket for lunch can be bought through the registration form at a cost of €10.

Tutorial Registration: delegates are offered a free tutorial with the conference registration fee. They can register for a second tutorial at a cost of € 100. Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are offered; each registration fee is separate. There is no need for students to register for a second tutorial since their students registration fee includes two free tutorial.

Extra Page Charge: full papers for ISWCS 2006, either oral or poster, are only allowed to be up to 5 pages. The overlength page charge is payable on each additional page at a price of 100 € per page.

Cancellation and refund policy: participants who cancel their registration by 25 July 2006 will receive a 50% reimbursement of the registration fee. No reimbursements will be made after 25 July 2006. For registrations that are attached to accepted papers, no reimbursement will be given. Reimbursement will not be given for late arrival, unused services included in the registration fee, unattended events or early departure from ISWCS’06. All accepted papers are expected to have a presenter attending the conference. If no written cancellation (e-mail, telefax or letter) is received for a full registration for the paper by 15 August 2006 and no rearrangements for substitution have been done to have someone else present the paper at the event, the paper in question will not be included in IEEE Xplore.

Payment: registration payment for ISWCS 2006 can be done either by credit card or by bank transfer. Credit card payments are the preferred form of payment. Credit card payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard or Eurocard. You will receive a confirmation after your credit card payment has been accepted.
If you wish to make a bank transfer, please select this option in the electronic registration form. When making a bank transfer, it is very important to include the reference number in the payment. Please note that organisers need minimum 6 working days to receive bank transfers.

Registration confirmation
Upon receipt of the registration form and payment, a confirmation will be sent to the DELEGATE by e-mail. For paper authors, access information for uploading the camera ready copy of an accepted paper will be given once the full registration for the paper has been confirmed.
