The working language of the Conference is English and will be used for all printed material, presentations
and discussions.
Time for each presentation
12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions has been allowed for the presentation of your contribution, and this time allocation must not be exceeded.
The Session Chairs have been asked to be strict with their time keeping of presentations, this will enable delegates to walk between sessions and view the presentations of their choice.
It is therefore imperative that you do not exceed your time allocation.
Visual Aids
For ISWCS 2004 we will only permit the use of PowerPoint presentations. If you have any further
requirements please contact the Organisers at d.r.basgeet@ieee.org,
j.m.irvine@ieee.org or
boonyeo@ieee.org prior to the conference to ensure that there are facilities in place to support
your presentation.
Please note that the Laptop within the Lecture Theatre is installed with the following software:
Windows 2000 & XP and PowerPoint 2000 & 2002.
NOTE:
To allow us to load your presentation on to the lecture theatre equipment in advance, we would be grateful if you could
please upload your Power Point presentation slides on the EDAS system by Monday, 13th September 2004. This
will save you time and aid the smooth running of your talk on the day.
ISWCS cannot be held responsible if authors arrive at the time of presentation with an incompatible presentation. Please contact the Event Organisers as soon as possible with any queries regarding audio-visual aids.
